Inner South Community Health Service
Inner South Community Health Service (ISCHS) offers the following services across our four sites as well as out in the community:
- Case Management – working with people to access a range of services to meet their health needs
- Casework / Counselling in many areas including family, drug & alcohol, financial and domestic violence
- Child Development
- Community Health Nursing
- Community Rehabilitation – to help increase the independence of people who have had an illness or injury
- Dental
- Dietetics
- Indigenous Access – working with the indigenous community to meet their health needs
- Mental Health Case Management
- Needle Syringe Program
- Occupational Therapy
- Older Persons High Rise Support
- Physiotherapy
- Podiatry
- Post Acute Care
- Sex Worker Support and Education
- Speech Pathology
- Youth Services
ISCHS also offers a range of groups including exercise, gym programs, playgroups, gardening, support, parenting and anxiety and depression.
Some of our services are available only to people with health care or concession cards.There is a small fee charged for most of our services, however people will not be denied a service if they cannot pay.
To make an appointment, or to check whether or not you are eligible for services, call the Information and Referral Worker at one of our sites.
At ISCHS we do our best to help you. If English is not your first language you can ask for an interpreter who is available free of charge either at one of our sites or by telephone. Please let us know when booking if you will need an interpreter.
