We provide services to more than 137, 239 people across the following local government areas:
the City of Port Phillip (Albert Park, Elwood, Middle Park, Port Melbourne, St Kilda, St Kilda East, Southbank, South Melbourne)
and
part of the City of Stonnington (Prahran, Toorak, Armadale, Hawksburn, South Yarra and Windsor.)
In these areas:
There is a high proportion of people in 25 – 34 year age bracket
A significant increase in population is expected. The estimated increase in population for the City of Port Phillip is from 85 012 to 100, 605 by 2016. In the City of Stonnington, the population is expected to increase from 88,976 in 2006 to 98, 510 in 2011
Pockets of significant disadvantage, high need and poverty alongside a higher than average proportion of people in high income brackets
The ISCHS catchment is home to culturally diverse communities with high levels of people born overseas
The top five languages spoken at home within the City of Stonnington are
Greek
Chinese languages
Italian
Russian, and
Indonesian.
Within the City of Port Phillip, the top 5 languages were

Polish
City of Port Phillip is home to 235 people who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander and 169 in the City of Stonnington
There is a high percentage of lone person households within the Cities of Port Phillip and Stonnington - 35% households in the City of Port Phillip and 31.9% households in Stonnington
One-parent families with children under 15 make up 4.1% of households of the City of Stonnington and 5.4% of households in the City of Port Phillip.
Nearly 50% of public housing residents were born in non-English speaking countries
There are 1,926 Commonwealth Seniors Card holders, 6,644 Health Care Card holders and 15, 217 Pensioner Concession Card holders.
The number of people renting housing within the Cities of Port Phillip and Stonnington is very high compared to the rest of Melbourne
Over the last 3 years, there has been a significant increase in persons born in China and India living within the Cities of Port Phillip and Stonnington, with a significant decrease of persons born in Greece
